Introduction to Coaching

The Starter Introduction Session is a free and relaxed 30-minute conversation designed to give you a first sense of what coaching at Behaviour & Balance looks like.

 

During this session, we will talk about what brings you here, what you would like to explore, and what you are currently looking for. I will also share how I work, what I can offer through coaching, and what coaching does not include, so that everything feels clear and transparent from the beginning.

 

There is space for any questions you may have, as well as your preferences and expectations for the process.

 

If you feel that this could be a good fit for you, you will receive a coaching agreement afterwards. This outlines how we would work together and provides a clear and supportive structure moving forward.

Coaching Session

This session is a 60-minute coaching session, which can be extended up to 70 minutes or longer if needed and requested.

At the beginning of the session, we gently set a focus based on what feels important for you to explore. This can be an emotion, a behaviour, a perspective that may feel limiting, or anything you would like to understand more deeply.

The session offers a calm and supportive space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and patterns. Through open and thoughtful questioning, you are supported in exploring your own perspective and gradually finding ways to approach situations in a way that feels more aligned for you.

The approach is non-directive and gently solution-focused. This means that rather than giving advice, I support you in finding your own clarity and responses, at your own pace.

Sometimes this can lead to new ways of approaching a situation within a session, while at other times change unfolds more gradually. Both are a natural and valid part of the process.

Growth Coaching Bundle

This package includes three personalised coaching sessions designed to support deeper self-understanding and meaningful, sustainable change in the way you think, feel, and behave.

The coaching approach is non-directive, meaning the sessions focus on helping you explore your own insights, values, and perspectives rather than providing prescriptive advice. The aim is to create a space for reflection where you can better understand yourself and allow shifts in perception to naturally influence your thoughts, emotions, and behaviour.

The approach is informed by psychological and coaching frameworks, including elements of NLP and cognitive approaches developed by Aaron Beck and Albert Ellis, as well as coaching models by Robert Dilts. These perspectives support both deeper awareness and the possibility for change.

Between sessions, you will receive short reflective exercises designed to help you explore your patterns, thoughts, and emotional responses in everyday life. These are intended to deepen self-awareness and gently connect insights from the sessions to your daily experience.

To support continuity, a brief 15-minute check-in call is included between sessions. This offers space to reflect, stay connected to the process, and gently explore any questions or challenges that may arise.

This coaching is grounded in the understanding that change does not come from fixing something that is wrong, but from recognising your inherent value while working with your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours as a natural and human part of your experience.
